Great phone

I recently purchased the Samsung Freeform device and love it! It really fits my needs as far as texting with the qwerty keyboard. I love the stylish, sleek, lightweight style of this device. I would recommed this device to anyone who likes to text and who is looking for a device that is slim and lightweight.

Im sory but this phone is the worst cellcom has. sure its good for texting but what good is it if the phone wont send them. This phone will say the texts sent but it never really sent. If I were you i would not get this phone. it has a mind of its own and locks up on ramdomly witch means you have to take the battery out to restart to phone.

love it

I love this phone. I have gotten alot of crap phones but this one is great for all the texting that I do during the day.

Its just okay

As the title says, its just okay. Mine randomly freezes up and I have to pull the battery to restart it. Ive had mine for three months and the buttons already look worn and cracked almost. It tells me that my text messages have been sent, but half the time they really just failed. It also sends out duplicates all by itself. I'm not sure if its just a flaw with my phone, but it drives me and my friends crazy. Also, the outbox only holds 30 messages and automatically deletes them as you go over 30. There's no way to increase that number or make it stop automatically deleting them.

Everything work GREAT!!! I would like it better if it had a video capturing on it but it doesnt but tht isnt a must have either .... The only reason i took off a star is because it shut off on me every now and then had the phone for about two week.

Good, Not Great

I really like this phone, however there are a few small things that bug me. First, the words and letters are TOO BIG. I wish there would be a choice of how big/small the font is, because in my text chats, I can only read like 5 words at a time! Second, if I go into to my text chat, I can't see who wrote what at what time. I try to go back and see when the person had texted me if I'm at work, etc, and it won't let me! Anyways, the phone is great and to me is like a comparison of a store brand to the brand name blackberry, alot of the same features, just without all the glitz!

Worst Phone Ever

When i first got this phone I was super excited. I downgraded from my blackberry to this so it seemed like the perfect idea. its the same thing without all the extra costs. Now that I have had it for a few months I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT! it never sends my messages. It says I have full reception all of the time so why are they not sending. also it says they sent and then you check and they failed. this phone is not ideal for someone that texts alot. if you like your messages not getting sent then this is the phone for you. if i wouldve known this phone sucked so bad i would have never wasted my money. now i am in the market for a new one! YET AGAIN!

TERRIBLE PHONE
written by TK on
April 28th, 2010

This is by far the worst phone I have ever owned. For starters, half the time it will not send text messages and when it does it is constantly sending duplicates for no reason. If the phone has been on for a while and you try to use the camera it will say "camera error" and it will not work without shutting off the phone and turning it back on. Also, it doesnt have much of a speaker phone, if you're in your car you cannot hear it at all and the only way it really works "good" is if your in a quiet place with no background noise. As for the regular volume of the phone thats not much better. SAVE YOUR MONEY and go with something else. I wish you could give negative ratings because I would. I cannot wait for my contract to be up to get rid of this piece.

best phone for texting

This is an awsome phone if you are a texter. If you dont really like texting i wouldnt recommend it but with texting it is awsome the only complaint i have is that the keys are to small.

Awesome!

I absolutely love this phone, its great for texting too. My advice, don't get the white phone; the backlight on the keys is white as well which makes texting confusing in daylight. There's a black/green version available too. I've had this phone for 6 months and its great! Love the MP3 player too, and full size headphone jack! Up to 16GB microSD is awesome too! The phone has excellent battery life (up to 4 days for me still), and crystal clear calls. Excellent reception no matter where you are. I love it and couldn't live without it! By far the best phone I've ever had with Cellcom :)

NEVER and I mean Never get this phone... It was great at first but then all started to go down hill from there. I broke the phone by sitting on it and i am only 135 pounds!!!! It lost everything when i did that and i lost everything even pictures, people, and my phone number was not even in the phone!

Not Very Happy..

This phone is really not that great. I've had it for maybe 7 months and it has 3 big problems. One, the camera never works, it always says "Camera Error" and I have to take out the battery and restart. Second the keys wear out quickly, I text a lot, like 5000 a month, but still. Third the texts barely send, sometimes it says they didn"t and it really did or sometimes it just dosen't send at all. I don"t like this phone.

so-so

My review is simular to many others. Have had phone freeze up randomly. When using the stopwatch, the phone powers down & reboots at 3 min. I also have problems with sending texts where it says "message sent" but when go back and look in outbox, it says it failed. So here you are waiting for a response, but they never got the text to respond to. Keyboard is ok, keys are very small and function key to switch back and forth between alphabet and numerical/symbols is a pain. When cancelling a sent message, the phone takes an extended time to cancel. Phone is ok, but def has more negatives than positives!

its kewl:)

this phone is pertty kewl.. and 2 sarah.. for the txt messaging you have to make sure you have the area code in the # otherwise it wont send the txt.. if you havent done tht already... but otherwise this phone is good for anythingg:) i rercomend it to ppl who like an easy txt and lightweight phone!

Decent.

I just got this phone 2 days ago, and so far, so good. But one problem I have is when I send messages, it sometimes says "delivery failed" or "one or more of the messages could not be sent" and then when I look in my outbox, it says they were delivered.. It's kind of annoying! I noticed a lot of the other reviews said that they have the same problem.. Maybe cellcom should do soemthing about it? No video capture, which is okay i guess since I don't even use it that much but it would be nice to have.
It's a simple phone, could have more features..But I like the way it looks, its a pretty cool phone :)
Overall, I'd say its pretty good.(but there are some things i'd DEFINITELY change!)
If the problems I listed above don't bother you, I'd recommend you get this phone.

i had this phone for 8 months, i loved it but it had problems, it would randomly shut off, the keys started wearing out and they sounded really cheap. i once dropped my phone and my screen wont stay still after that. you would have to take out the battery and put it back in like 5 times. another bad thing is when you send txts they sometimes dont send or they say they sent and the person never got them. a good thing about this phone that i loved was the keyboard. i loved this phone and would recommend that you dont drop it. theres a lot more negitives then positives but i loved it!!

Disappointment.

The keys wore out quickly, the phone says that it has full bars but doesn't send texts/outgoing calls take 10 seconds to go through, and the keys are tall but not wide enough.

The phone is good but it would not send text messages or it would say it was not able to send but it would send. Otherwise it was a stylish and sleek phone.

Worst Phone Ever!

August 21st, 2010

I think that this is one of the worst phone's that cellcom has. It always freezes up so then you have to take the battery out and half the time i dont get any of my text messages or my text messages dont send. You can't have any videos and on mine when you click to the left of right it shuts off every time!

this phone sucks!
written by Tayler on
August 21st, 2010

ive had this phone for a little over 4 months and it was the dumbest 140 dollars i have ever spent!
When i try to send things using bluetooth like songs and pictures my phone powers down and turns itself back on. HAPPENS EVERY TIME! Sometimes when i go to take a picture it will say "camera error" and i have to turn my phone off and back on again to use it. It also freezes very often and i have to remove my battery and leave it off for 5 minutes. I also dont like that if you try to cancel a message it sends it anyways, i often end up sending blank messages because of it.
if you are looking into buying this phone, DON'T DO IT!!! it's a waste of your money!

Okay, Wouldn't Recommend

I thought it was cool at first, but the problems sending get really annoying! It never sends and then I have to go and resend. There is no camcorder which I thought was dumb. I only had it for 3 days and I'm noticing problems!
